Barazza — La Famiglia

One of our favourite projects of all time, we were commissioned to build the brand of Barazza in Australia. The award-winning appliance brand prides itself on design and functionality and has been made in Italy for over 40 years and has a long, rich history of its own. A large part of that history is family.

Tapping into our own values, we created a scene that evoked emotion and the viewer’s imagination with a composition inspired by Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, the elegant scene shows four generations of an Italian family and the joy of coming together around the family table. This project was conceptualised to appeal to a design-conscious audience.

The shoot was developed into a print and digital advertising campaign we called La Famiglia and rolled out across national media. The campaign ran across print and digital collateral, retail signage and promotion thought displays. 

Activating the campaign, we managed a range of events including the participation and collaboration with Poliform in Saturday in Design Melbourne. We brought to life a series of characters from the scene. Visitors to the event were able to link the characters with the advertising they had seen. The styling carried through from the live characters to the table setting, which reflected La Famiglia and the notion of coming together.

The La Famiglia campaign has become synonymous with the Barazza brand and represents a multi-layered narrative for the Italian brand.
